Successful Mediation at VCAT
All Parties agree to 14 storeys with improved amenity
Over 150 residents opposed this development when it was submitted to the City of Yarra Council.
Our Council rejected the proposal in May 2017
The developers appealed the council's decision to VCAT.
Save Queens Parade strongly represented residents at the mediation.
The agreed plans are essentially the 14 storey ammended plan proposed by the council officers at IDAC,
with improved setbacks to surrounding commerical properties and more on-site parking.
The parties agree it is a better designed result than the original proposal, achieved with good will all round.
